Maze ransomware attack on tech giant Cognizant
On April 18, 2020, IT service provider Cognizant has confirmed that It has been attacked by maze ransomware. This attack has caused service disruption for its clients also. They did not reveal any name but said that they are working to minimize the impact to the customers.
“Our internal security teams, supplemented by leading cyber defense firms, are actively taking steps to contain this incident. Cognizant has also engaged with the appropriate law enforcement authorities.”, Said in a statement.
They have already informed their customers about this maze ransomware attack.
“We are in ongoing communication with our clients and have provided them with indicators of compromise (IOCs) and other technical information of a defensive nature.”, Cognizant said in a statement.
